U.S. Army Pilot Capt. Colter Stevens departed from the Metra [8] commuter train to Chicago. Stevens is astray, his last memory was flying on a mission in Afghanistan. However, in the world around her – including her friend Christina Warren and her reflection in the passenger window and in the mirror of the restroom – she appears to be a schoolteacher scene. As he expresses his confusion for Christina, the train explodes, killing all the people.

Stevens wakes up inside a dim-lit cockpit. While communicating through a video screen, Air Force captain Coleen Goodwin confirmed Stevens’ identity and explained his mission to find the train bomber before sending them back at the beginning. Assuming he is being tested in a simulation, Stevens finds the bomb, but is unable to identify the bomber before the train explodes again.

Stevens rejoined his capsule and after seeking to be briefed, learn that the train had actually exploded, and it was the first attack of a series. He is sent back again to identify the bomber, eight minutes before the explosion. This time, he resembles the train (with Christina) to chase a suspect. However, he falls onthe tracks and is killed by the goods train.
