Movie Plot: Brothers Zach and Gray Michelle visit The Julianic World, a dinosaur theme park on Isla Nuble, of which her aunt Claire Isting is the operations manager. Claire appointed her assistant Zara as the boys’ guide, but they evacuated her and searched on her own. Elsewhere on the island, U.S. Navy veteran and athologist Owen Grady is training four velosaroptors and researching their intelligence. Based on the Raptor’s ability to follow commanders, Ingen Security chief Vic Hokins believes animals can be weaponized, an idea Owen and his assistant Barry strongly opposed.

Before its opening, Claire and park owner Simon Masrani carried out an inspection of the park’s newest attraction, Indominus Rex, created by genetically engineered dinosaur Henry Wu. Masarani works with the evaluation of the enclosure. Owen warned Claire that indominus lack social skills, making it dangerous and unpredictable. When it appears that Indominus has fled, Owen and two park workers enter the enclosure. Indominus, which can camouflage themselves and mask its heat signature, suddenly appears. Owen survives, but eats the other two men before it escapes into the interior of the island. Owen advised Masrani to kill Indominus, but to protect his company’s investment, Masarani sent a special unit to be subdued with a non-lethal weapon. After the slaughter of most of the unit, Claire ordered the northern area of the island to be evacuated.
